For over two decades, I’ve analyzed macro trends and shaped commercial strategies for some of the world's most prominent luxury fashion brands across the apparel, beauty, and lifestyle sectors.
As a trusted retail trend expert on Wall Street, Fashion Forecaster & Strategist, and Wholesale Sales & Marketing Director for high-end designers, I’ve combined innate intuition with data-driven market intelligence & cultural foresight to help clients anticipate what’s next and act on it.
But eventually, I could no longer reconcile my values with an industry built around scale at any cost, and I returned to school to earn my Master’s in Business for Sustainability and Social Impact. I wanted to find a different way forward, one where business, design, and impact didn’t have to be at odds.
I’ve always believed fashion has the power to imagine a better future, and design has the power to make it real. So when I got breast cancer and I couldn’t find a bra made without plastic or toxic chemicals to support and protect my healing wounds, I set out to build it myself.
The Evolution: grace layer
What we wear closest to our most intimate parts shouldn't be an afterthought. Your skin acts like a sponge, absorbing whatever you press against it. Yet, the lingerie industry remains structurally dependent on synthetics, harsh petroleum derivatives, and toxic chemical finishes.
My relationship with clothing transformed overnight from a professional occupation to a medical necessity when I had surgery, and grace layer is the product I needed and could not find; a circular-by-design inner wear brand focused on breast health and rooted in complete material transparency.
Our hero product is a post-surgical bra crafted entirely in the United States from 100% traceable, premium Shaniko Wool from Oregon. Why wool? Because it’s nature’s performance fabric: inherently thermoregulating, moisture-wicking, and anti-microbial/bacterial.
By pairing a beautiful aesthetic sensibility with support and fiber safety, we are eliminating the cold, clinical look of traditional medical garments while giving your skin a completely safe and comfortable environment to heal. All without a landfill legacy.
We are proving that our most essential garments can and should be the cleanest things we wear, and laying the groundwork for a radically clean future of everyday, clean and beautiful intimate essentials for all.
